The Whanganui Family Violence Network (VIN) is an engaged and trusted network of iwi, government and community organisations working to build a diverse trusted network of organisations to well able competently responds to family violence situations so that people feel confident seeking help and support.

We are seeking a highly organised well motivated person to deliver on the network’s strategy while the current co-ordinator is on parental leave.

Key attributes are :

• An effective communicator, well able to build credible relationships
• An understanding of the dynamics of family violence and structures and systems that perpetuate violence and abuse
• Competence to plan, manage and deliver on projects
• Initiative; able to seek out opportunities

The position is hosted by Jigsaw Whanganui reports monthly to a Reference Group appointed by Network members.
